Chester

We had our little boy Chester at six-months-old from British Dalmatian Welfare and we fell in love with this bouncy cheeky pup. We already had our older male Domino for a few years and felt that it would be good for him to have some company.  He took to Chester immediately and was so patient with him, even allowing him to share his bed and snuggle up together. I think it’s fair to say it was not easy at first as Chester was quite destructive and still a baby and we had been used to a very stable, older dog.  We needed a lot of patience and support from Dalmatian Welfare and I will say we nearly gave up on him in the first three months. We kept going though and with lots of structure and plenty exercise,  by the time he was eighteen-months-old he had settled a lot.  Now he’s  three and we just adore him and can’t imagine life without him.  He’s the most loving cuddly dog – he just loves being around people and of course his beloved pal Domino!
