Rudi |
Male, 12 years old |
Rudi is a 5 year old castrated black spotted dog who has come into the St Francis Home 4 Animals due to his owners ill health. He currently weighs around 47kg’s so will need a gentle restart to exercise and dieting. Rudi has a long history of epilepsy predominantly in the last 12 months, the last one being in July when he went into boarding kennels but he has not had any at all while he has been at St Francis. He likes to take his twice daily medications in a dot of cream cheese so he is easy to medicate. He is very stable at the home which is amazing and they consider him the best natured boy ever, they adore him. Recent blood tests show that his medication is well within the correct parameters with the possibility to increase comfortably if needed later on. They would like to rehome him close to where he is in Cornwall unless we are able to offer the right home via one of our home checked approved adopters. BDW would help with cost of medication if necessary if the right home was available via us. Please contact Emma Pannell Centre Manager St Francis Home for Animals Trevelgue Road, Porth, Newquay, TR8 4AT website: www.stfrancisnewquay.org.uk/pet/rudi/ for more information on this lovely dog. Opening times are Monday to Sunday 11.30 until 4.00 pm. (CLOSED WEDNESDAY) |
